Books

I love reading. It’s as simple as that. And many people have asked me for my favourite books. Well, here are a couple of them. What I find important in books: I want to learn something, I like to be triggered, and I like it when there is a touch of humour. I’m adding the English and Dutch versions where possible.

Spirit means business - Alan Cohen

One of my friends, Mieke Lannoey, suggested this book to me. And OMG, what a wonderful book. This is a fantastic book.

Can you create material success and keep your spirit alive? Is it possible to combine prosperity with purpose and passion? Can you sell your product without losing your soul? Expert coach and beloved teacher Alan Cohen demonstrates the answer is yes.

I admit, I’m in love with Wayne Dyer. He was a wise man who taught me a lot. And he had a great sense of humour. This is one of his first books. Brilliant!

Do you ever worry what people think of you? Do you ever feel inadequate? Do you ever say ‘yes’ when you mean ‘no’? Are you frightened of failure? These are your erroneous zones – infuriating little quirks of personality that are barriers to a fuller, richer life.

The 4 questions that changed my life. That is what this book is all about. It’s a must-read.

Katie has developed a simple method of self-enquiry that she calls the Work, four simple questions that allow you to see the problems that are troubling you in a whole new light. the Work is a life-transforming system for discarding the stories we tell ourselves, which are the source of our suffering, and replacing them with the truth and a life of joy and peace.

I recieved this book from one of my best friends, Peter Snauwaert. I discovered a whole new world when reading this book. Wow.

This is a must-read for everyone interested in the psychology of us humans and how we can use this in sales and marketing. It’s an interesting book and it’s written in a humorous way, just what I like.

In the tradition of “Freakonomics” and “Blink,” a behavioural economist argues that human behaviour is often anything but rational–that thoughts are not random, but instead are systematic and predictable.
